Post subject: Channel 9 Next YearReply with quote

This post is about what Eddie said on MMM earlier today about seeing football live on Ch 9 on Friday nights. Someone called up and asked why yesterday's Ess v Rich game wasn't shown live etc. And then Eddie says something like don't worry, there won't be a problem next year. So how is the AFL going to let Channel 9 do this? I know it's not going to happen, so why is Eddie ranting and raving so much about Ch 9's footy coverage next year??? Give Channel 7 a little bit of a break Ed.

I didn't hear it on Triple M, but in regards to Friday nights, are you sure Eddie was referring to Channel 9 and not to Foxtel?

I'm with you pants.
We were shafted a few times this year when they showed rugby ahead of the Pies in Melb. No ratings justification there, just sour grapes at loosing the coverage after a tactical blunder in the tender process and bitterness with Eddie @ Ch9.

One thing I hope the new footy consortium do is show every winning team singing their song in the rooms after the game. I've lost count of how many times Ch7 and C7 have cut out part or all of the song and it really cheeses me off!

It's one place most supporters can't go, so it's always great to see the boys enjoying a win and bellowing out the song - especially when it's our Pie Boys!

GO PIES!

*** 7, bring on the consortium. 7 are a bunch of wingeing tosspots who screwed over everyone this year. I hope you all (cept Bruce) rot in hell, scum!
