The Magpies take on the Eagles at home, the Magpies with their tails in the air after beating by North Hobart and the Roos in the last 2 weeks. Reigning premiers New Norfolk are looking to start their defence of the premiership with another win. Last time they met Glenorchy pulled off an unlikely win over the Eagles spoiling an otherwise flawless season for the Eagles. The Magpies start to last weeks game was below par and would hope to start this game full of run. The Eagles had no problems with the Demons at Boyer. With this being Glenorchys first home game for 2006, could be the difference between the sides.
