The club website has just reported that Daisy has undergone surgery for a broken collar bone. They're hopeful his season is not over, but you'd have to pretty optimistic about his chances of returning in time to gather some form. With both Daisy and Leon out of action, we have certainly lost a lot of spark out of our side. I suspect Pendlebury and maybe Rowe will come in to the side this week.

That is disapointing to hear, thought it was just concussion. One would have to suspect that is the end of a stellar first season.

Terrible news - Thought it was just concussion.....

Rowe cannot deliver the spark we need in the side. Pendlebury plays a different role to Thomas.

I thought it was an offence to run under a player like that when he is in mid-air. Incredibly dangerous.

But of course, it was against a Collingwood player... carry on.

Sad end to a brilliant debut year.

He'll be back next year bigger and better than ever but if he's got a broken collarbone its year over I'm afraid.

That is friggin terrible news....highlight of my year has been watching Dale and Heater - There will be tears in my house tonight Sad

must admit that I was concerned, given he was reported to have an AC joint last week (although I thought this was a furphy at the time - musta been true)

We're going to miss him Sad
Amazing that after starting off the season with almost no injuries, it's all gone downhill, losing Cara and Leon for the season and missing Brodie and Maxy for extended periods of time Sad and now this....

Look while it's disapointing, he is injured let's not get to down on injuries, we've had a reasonly good year in relation to that compared to some sides, i.e Western Bulldogs.
