Does anyone out there in Collingwood Land know anything about whether Optus will show live games into Sydney like in the past or does Foxtel have the lot.
No footy on Optus could mean it goes. Unfortunately where I live we are not cabled for Foxtel.
See all you out at Manuka Oval Sunday week to see the Black and Whites give it to the Swans. I'll be the one with three boys aged 11, 9 and 5 all decked with collingwood colours.

As far as I know, Foxtel has the lot (along with Channels 9 and 10, of course).

You may not be able to get Foxtel cabled in your area, but can you get Foxtel by satellite? (that's what I've got - look into it!)

As far as we are aware Floptus has lost the contract along with Ch7.Ch 9/10 and Fox are the only ones to show it for 2002,3,4,and 2005.Contact Foxtel and ask them what can be done for you as far as viewing and they can advise.
I am interested to see what happens on Sunday for the Swans practise game,WHICH is supposed to be shown live on Fox,but no one knows whether is is open slather or not.

I don't think the Sydney v. Essendon match is being shown live. I'm fairly sure it's a delayed telecast starting at 5pm (actual match starts at 4pm). And all preseason matches are being shown to everyone with Foxtel (probably a bit of a sweetener to suck people into paying for it) - televising to only those who have paid for the AFL package starts with Round 1 of the "real" season.
