Hey Bones,

Channel 7 (or Prime in regional areas) is starting a show called "The Club" soon. I think it is about local people who play in a football team and a camera crew go along for the adventures. Sounds like "Survivor" but for footy. It isn't the movie "The Club". That's different.

Cheers,

A.J.

Hey Bones,
It was me after 'The Club', I think I will be able to get my greasy mits on it soon.

But thanks anyway,
I really appreciate the effort of that.

Cheers...

Whoa, what's everybody talking about here? - The movie, or the TV-Show?

"The Club", the movie, stars Jack Thompson, John Howard (the "SeaChange" guy, not the Muppet Prime Minister), and much of Collingwood's 1980 team. No details from me about when it may screen.

"The Club", the TV-Series, is a Channel 7 reality-based show, working on the same premise as something like the God-awful "Big Brother." They begin with a Squad, which is whittled away to a Team, which is then entered into some bush-competition.

The ABC own the rights to screen "The Club" (the David Williamson play / movie), and showed it last September. Don't know the odds of them showing it again soon.

Love the Muppet reference, Foxy, but it is a bit disrespectful to Kermit, Fozzy, Scooter & Co (But he does make about as much sense as the Swedish chef).

As far as 'The Club' the movie is concerned,I think that if you contact the ABC shop on line or via the telfunken they are able to sell you a copy of this movie,as it is so old.
I think that the web site is www.abc.com.au/shop

Any try the shop via the ABC and they should be able to assist you.
Catch you later
