Assuming Thomas, Bryan and Licca all play, who gets the last space on the bench? Goldy, Cox, Tooves or Stanners? All HBF cum Mids, all young, each brings something different to the table, who do you like?

Glad I am not on the match committee.

What about Iles...I had big wrappes on him, but more and more i've been realising noone else shares my view on Sam Iles??...Anyone think that he's able to get into the side soon?

Cox deserves a recall, as he was in good from prior to his misdemeanor in Adelaide. He's calm under pressure, and can play all over the ground. Moneybags and Toovey could do with a few weeks back at Willi, but will no doubt get other opportunities later in the year, as they have proved themselves at this level.

im liking Goldsack at the minute. It also depends on match ups and their flexibilty (being able to be thrown forward and get results).

This is the problem, if u see it as one for the future. Its going to be hard for all these blokes to be in the side at any one time, as they are all the same player.

I picked Toovey but It was a very very short half head from Goldsack.

As someone else said, what a good predicament to be in.

I think Iles'll need to put a few more runs on the board, before he plays continually in the seniors, Tyson. Juswt IMO, and I hope he proves me wrong. Might be a bit of a Lockyer or Nathan Brown (Melb).

I feel it'd be too harsh on Goldsack to drop him right now (twas his best match so far last week).

An extra week's break for Dale, anyone? Maybe it'd do him good down the track to gain an extra week's recovery on everyone else? Just a thought...

It all depends on Heath though. If heath plays then we only require Tooves. If he doesn't Goldy should get another gig.

Goldsack is in good form and getting better every week. Really came of age against the Dockers. He's quick, a natural defender, prepared to take a risk to rebound it off half-back, tall enough to worry most forwards in the air, and doesn't panic. You'd be mad to drop him.

But I don't think Licca is a certainty - he shouldn't be, at any rate, as despite his good form last week at Willy he could use a full game there before he returns fully match-fit, and he's yet another one-paced midfielder. If he comes in, Holland should go out. Better to stick with Holland this week and then figure out what to do after the break.

It's also quite possible that Heater won't line up. Either way, leaves room for one more inclusion: Cox, Tooves, or Stanley. I'd go with Cox: Toovey hasn't played well these last two weeks and could use a break (but he will be back, no question), Stanley is unknown to me except by reputation, Cox did more than OK when he played seniors earler this year and has played in our backline before. He can slot straight in.

Mind you, if it was up to me I'd probably drop Brodie, who still hasn't performed all that well after 4 weeks back, and give Stanley a crack at it as well. This is probably why I'm posting at Nicks instead of sitting on the match committee.

I think Cox will play, regardless of whether Shaw lines up or not. He can play either end and on the ball, so I'd play him.

Thomas, Cox, Licuria and Bryan for mine.
I'd like Stanley to get a game though.

The evenness of the vote says it all, really: these are four great kids and if we could pick 25 we'd play all four of them.

I'm having trouble splitting Cox and Goldsack. I think they both deserve a run this week. So obviously from the squad we'd leave out Stanley and Toovey (both unlucky) but not sure who the third person to leave out is.
