Just thought I'd highlight this one. Article seems to indicate that their editing Video and posting it. How does this effect Favs great highlight packages?

| I don't think it is a problem because You tube are hosting favs2006 Videos. This would mean the AFl and Telstra would have to to take on the owner of You tube. which i think is google though it might be News Corp. Neither of which they can bully |

I think what has happened is they actually copied the richmond stuff of the telstra site, ie copying ctv putting it on nicks. I have been asked to remove two items by the AFL or PBL, and the explanation was that it was over 5 minutes of straight footage, so as long as the highlights were edited ect they didn't have a problem with it. Hense the amount of AFL now available on you-tube.

isnt it like 10% of each thing (game, interview etc) kinda like when u photocopy stuff?? like u arent supposed to photocopy a whole book, but 10% is ok?
or did someone make that up?

Reminds me of when I did a subject at university, Statistics and Probability Modeling. It was a new subject and easily the worst I had ever attempted to do. There was no set textbook for us to buy, rather, he would photocopy pages out of some out-of-print stats book that none of us could find.
One day, about three or four weeks in, we're sitting there, waiting for our photocopies to be handed out, when he tells us, "Legally, I'm not allowed to photocopy anymore of the book, so you can all borrow it." Because borrowing a book between thirty people was practical, you see. 
Anyway, I'd say it's true.

Nah you're only allowed one chapter.. Well that's the rule at monash.
Anyway, what horrible handling of the issue by the AFL. Couldn't they just send a polite suggestion to the woman instead of a legal threat?
