Am I being foolish to think that Pendlebury could be a smoky to win the medal?

I suppose things would have to drastically turn around, as the winner is almost always from a finals team, but surly he is somewhat of a chance.

Pendles will poll some votes but not many. Treloar will also poll and maybe the most by any pies player.
Sidey will have votes from Anzac Day
Right now as a combined team we may have a total of 7 votes

Pies best players might be in low teens - way off the mark. We need to dominate games to get 3-2-1 and that is what you need a lot of to win the brownlow!

Dangerfield deserves to be fav - my smokey would be the roos ruck man goldstein! you notice him - he had a good year last yr so umps know him - they have won a lot of games etc so they should get votes but their players are pretty even with few standouts dominating in the middle - where the winner usually comes from!
