DELISTED Collingwood ruckman Guy Richards is confident his best football lies ahead of him as he chases a second chance in the AFL.

I hope he can improve and make a career at another club, he didn't do too badly for us.

I liked how he said that this year was his best.

High standards and all that.

I've been watching matches from early 2006, and he was not bad at all. Played quite well on Anzac Day, and was solid in rounds one and two. Really, he was only one breakout match from hitting the next level.

Richmond have always looked to the next draft for Richards, not this one.
