It might be too early to speculate, as Bucks would stay for a couple years, but just for the fun of it, who do u think (from our current list of players) would be the next captain of CFC?

My choices:

Pebbles
Josh (if he recap his last yr's form)

5 years? Make Cloke a young captain, he's got it all already - toughness, ability, die-for-the-jumper mentality. He never goes off the field giving less than 100%. These things convert into leadership. The knee in the chest in the ruck incident - Clokey gets up and keeps playing.

Mind you i wouldn't mind seeing burnsy get a year or two at the helm - even if bucks was still there.

Hard at it. The Collingwood way.

bucks will play at least 4-5 years more and couldnt see any reason at all why we'd have a gavin brown situation(except perhaps in his final year to groom the new bloke) where bucks would be in the side but not skipper. go easy on clokey.... a season is a long time for an untried kid let alone 5 years down the track.

yeah, rocca could be a great captain in a few years, if he continues the kind of form he's in now.

but i reckon it'll be josh, or burnsy (i'd love burnsy to be captain), or even didak, who apparently has great leadership skills.

To my recollection Foxy I believe Didak was the captain of the South Australia Teal Cup side in 2000 so he must have good leadership skills.

In my opinion I reckon Pebbles is looking the goods at the moment but we must not forget little Sheephead Lockyer! How much heart does this bloke have?

We're forever blowing bubbles
