SHANE Wakelin will get his chance for revenge on the "frustrated old man" of footy who flattened him in a "weak" act last time they met.

The game's greatest goalkicker, born-again Tony Lockett, has been picked for the Swans to play Collingwood at Colonial Stadium tomorrow night after two underwhelming performances in the VFL.

The inclusion of Plugger for the match, at the ground bearing his name at one end, comes after the ugly pre-season clash with Wakelin.

After Lockett pole-axed Wakelin from behind in a Wizard Cup game in Canberra, the Magpie defender called Lockett a "frustrated old man".

Collingwood football manager Neil Balme said Wakelin would be unfazed by Lockett's selection.

"People will be interested and it's good for the crowd and good for the game if Plugger plays, but what's it got to do with Shane?" Balme said last night.

"It doesn't matter to us who they put out there.

"Shane will pick up whoever they put out there. If it's Plugger it's Plugger; if it's Barry Hall it's Barry Hall.

"It won't make any difference to how he plays who they have out there. He will still be in front and going for the ball."

Lockett was cleared by the tribunal for the Wizard Cup clash with Wakelin.

After the incident, the Collingwood defender said he let Lockett know his thoughts on the clash when he was lying on the ground.

"I had a bit of a crack at him and told him how weak it was and I think he actually thought it was a bit weak," Wakelin said at the time.

"Racetracks are for racing, roads are for getting there."

There is nothing more frighetning in football for a player than a hostile Collingwood crowd that has it in for you. I almost pity him, he better be ready!

Brace yourself for the reception you washed-up turd.
