Seeing as there is obviously room for our young players to get a gernsey, who do you think will be named in our side on Saturday?

Mick was considering throwing open a spot in Saturday nights team to one of the Nicksters that played in the Goshs Paddock game against the saints earlier this year.

Now were are those stats from that match?

Well I thought I'd done OK in the backline in the Nicks BB team. Perhaps it was me he is thinking of bringing in.

No such stats to speak of, but who could forget THAT mark?

This is judgement day for MM.

Before the controversy with heater and dids the majority of us nicksters were calling for the inclusion this week of some of the kids whose form has warranted selection over the last months as well as omitting some of the older past it players and others who are not playing at the required level. At the start of the week I felt confident this would happen but I now fear MM will lack the guts to make wholesale changes and just recycle the usual suspects from the reserves (Johnson,Holland) with the possible exception of Dawes and Stanley.

In my opinion that would be a big mistake, wholesale changes are required, we need some young talent and enthusiasm injected into the side, some fresh ideas from the coaches and the start of a new improved cultured within the club. Short term pain, long term gain!

These are my changes for the St.Kilda game:

Out: Shaw, Didak, O'Bree, Toovey, Lonie,Lockyer,Maxwell
In: Dawes,Stanley,McCarthy,Macaffer,Isles,Barham,Wakelin
