Offically Getting Darren Jolly has made the Ruck Postions very Interesting with Fraser,Wood and Jolly Battling it out.

You would think Jolly would be easily our Number 1 Ruckman then who would be our number 2 Ruckman Fraser or Wood. I would say give it to Wood because he Needs the Gametime and Devlopment.

Fraser is just Injury Prone and would be a Good Back-Up Ruckman

Jolly 1st Ruck
Wood 2nd Ruck

Sounds a bit harsh but Josh really isn't needed. He's just keeping a youngster off the list and chewing up the salary cap

Jolly number 1, to play 70% of game time in the ruck and rest up forward.

Fraser and Wood to battle it out for relief ruck/forward. Fraser would start out in front but must perform. Wood to start in the 2s.

Jolly could be a Descent FF as well as Ruck

We've got the luxury now of genuinely playing Fraser as a HFF with ruck relief duties on occasions if required. Given in theory we now try to run the ball into the arc this is a perfect role for him.

A lot of work this summer will go into how to rove your own ruckman's tap work.

Hope they can find the manual that went into storage after Monkey retired.

Far out....!?!!??!?!

I think a few of you are underestimating Josh Fraser's ability. He had a pretty average 2009 only averaging a mear 18 disposals a match...

But a couple of years ago he was one of the best ruckmen in the league. Give him a chance. Josh Fraser aint done yet!

This is the first time he's had another quality ruckmen at the club at the same time, and I think he'll thrive because of it.
