AFL star in steroids probe

EX-WEST Coast Eagle Daniel Chick has been apprehended at Perth airport over steroids.
His Subiaco coach Scott Watters said he had spoken to Chick's fiancee and Chick was upset at the attention.
A Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman said a 33-year-old Perth man was "being investigated ... for attempting to import performance and image enhancing drugs through Perth Airport".
Customs said the man was stopped for questioning after arriving back in Australia and his baggage was subsequently searched.
Sources said the man had been the subject of a long-running surveillance exercise.
Friends of the man said today he sometimes used steroids for legitimate uses relating to asthma and chest infections.

Pretty sure that would be Michael Braun you are thinking of. He burnt off Aker in 40 degree heat and because Aker wasnt happy he accused Braun of using prohibited substances or something along them lines. Braun came out and let everyone know he trained exactly the way his childhood hero Darren Millane used to!
