I would have worked for that much if I was that age, and didn't go down the path I went down (ie. uni) - purely to get the experience of working for the Pies.

Well done DTM. I hope you get it too! You sound like the sort of guy who would be everything the Club could ever want in a dedicated and committed team member. That salary worries me alot. Surely they don't mean you have to provide a 5 day week in your time to get $19K less tax and further less your travelling and other work related expenses? I am not sure how much you would actually end up with at the end of this? I mean Net? Sure these are traineeships, but hey $19K a year Gross is a shocker! Well I guess the Club are seeing you for 2.5 days a week. I am not sure who ends up ultimately paying your wage? Might be the AFL. I support working as I have done and continue to do all my life, but I find the cost of living these days and the massive taxes we pay makes working to save really tough. I see so many welfare bludgers down here it sickens me. They are mainly useless lazy bludgers who profit off others hard work. I mean the ones who could work but choose to fake disablities etc. Well done DTM if it was selecting you would have the job immediately. Keep us posted. _________________ I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for. |
