Bruce was my favorite player as a young tacker.
We'd line up very early at Viccy Park to gain entry so we could get a seat on the wing in front of the R.T. Rush stand and wait for the ressy's to start. The years were '74 to around '76, lean years for success.
Bruce was a big bloke, turns out he was only 18 or 19. He took big marks down forward and had a thumping kick with plenty of goals and got the day off to a great start. When we'd be beaten in the senior side at least we could talk about Bruce on the train ride home. At the time Peter Mckenna was on the downslide with injuries and form and we thought Bruce was going to be the next cult hero, alas he was moved on and played for some time at Preston.
RIP Bruce. |

I remember him debuting for Collingwood in the seniors in ‘75 and watching him play as spearhead for Preston for a couple of years. He did give us hope. He was the Next Big (Actually Big) Thing. A man-mountain.
Sorry to hear of this. He wasn’t very old. |

If you actually want to get sex, the question should be "Darling, what can I cook you for dinner tonight" _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I dont really recall him to be honest, and im usually pretty good with Pies past players, from 60s-70s, was he in the era of denis Ocallghan, max urquart, barry price, robert dean, ricky watt, macca, brian mckenzie, mick bone, ted potter, lee adamson, vaughn ellis, that era was it. Anyway too young to pass, my sincere condolences to all. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I remember watching him in the reserves. Then a few years later I played cricket against him. Good bloke. _________________ The future is hidden from all men, and the greatest football matches hang on the smallest chances. - Demosthenes |

Of course housework is the best from of foreplay but Stui was presuming our relationship was as instrumental as that. I simply appreciated you for being you. Anyway what’s for tea?

Lee Walker would have been great if it wasn't for his knees. He was before his time in terms of tall, athletic types. He could play. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that don't. |

Lee Walker absolutely would have been a big thing - broke my heart when he did his knee that last time. |
