A friend of mine in Melbourne alerted me to the fact that a week or so back, Channel 10 news featured a story of the Collingwood Cheers Squad finding themselves sharing space at St Ignatius in Richmond with young Australia Opera members.
The CS were there to make the banner and the AO were rehearsing.
Anyway, it appears that quite a few of the AO group barrack for the Pies and this is the result and I love it!

That was brilliant. Thank you so much for posting. It just goes to show that people from ALL walks of life love not only the Pies but our wonderful home grown game.

I saw that on The Age website and also loved it. But there was no context as to why the AO would be singing our song.
