Sure, it may well be a bit of a whingefest, but I can actually imagine that this might be done in a bullying or harassing manner, in much the same way people of different ethnicities might have faced in the past. It might seem good-natured externally, but I suspect that the actual words and phrases used are only part of the story here.

Everyone's different, some are more fragile than others. Mind you, I suppose it's a bit hard to give it back to the pasty soap avoiders when you choose to live there.
