Very soothing MG. What instrument do you play?

It's not a place Hal, It's a state of mind.

Very nicely done, MG.

The only Shadows recording I own is "Another 20 Golden Greats". I bought it for Hank's performance in Sacha (which is on the album, even though my recollection is that it was originally released as by Marvin, rather than by the Shadows), so it is nice to hear that paid some respect.

I also enjoyed (of course) the old Collingwood footage that came up nearby on youtube! Craig Davis - what a fine hard-working player he was (and how unlike his son)!

Hank Marvin played and owned the first Fender Stratocaster in the UK, serial number 34346, finished in Fiesta Red.

He was given his 'Fiesta Red' Strat by Cliff Richard who imported it from the US.

At the time, the Strat was fairly new on the market and hadn't made it to the UK.

Hank and red Strat. The one pictured is not the original but a re-issue

Donny and red Strat. A 'must have' for any budding rock star - even if it's only a Squier.

MG, I noticed your guitar pics aren't activating. Could you please re-post them ?
