Players currently on the table after two days of bread roll eating.

Would any of these guys help Collingwood to next years premiership or are they depth players at best?

Mark Blake, Tom Gillies (Geelong)

Clinton Young (Hawthorn)

Matthew Bate, Matthew Warnock (Melbourne)

Jason Gram, Brett Peake, Tom Lynch (St Kilda)

Hmm. Brett Peake.
I rate him. I think he's had some dramas with some injuries and I'm not sure how serious.
Could he be reinvented in the right team?

If Gumbleton could get his body right he would be a massive addition to the team, but it's a very big if.

I've read some good articles about Tom Swift from 2-3 years ago, sounds like a huge talent.

Tom Swift was a great underage footballer, then had some terrible injuries. Has been only decent at AFL level so far. Not sure about him. Who knows though, could be a fair deal for Toovey.

Peake's coming off possibly his best year. Unlikely to be going.

I liked this deal: Dayne Beams to Brisbane Lions / Mitch Clark to Fremantle / Zac Clarke to Collingwood (and exchange of draft picks)

We need a second ruck and Clarke has plenty of talent. Straight up for Toovey, if he really wants to leave, would be even better.

Me too AI but Zac aint going anywhere with them possibly losing Griffen.

The jury is out on Swift and I really like Clinton Young - He is Ryan Lonie with a ticker and aggots.

Gee I reckon some of you will be burnt in the long run for wanting to trade Beams for next to nothing.

Zac is versatile and would be a great fit at Collingwood, and a ruckman should be a priority over an baller like Swift.
The Toovey situation needs to be resolved and would be a shame if we get no compensation for him.

Paul Bower is also on the trade table.

I am surprised to see Tom Lynch there, the Saints were in high spirits about him, seems surprising now that they are looking to trade him.
