At the moment I'm 17, and I'm turning 18 in six months but I'm wondering if I'm allowed to enter licensed premises without having to drinking alcohol.
My brother wanted to take me to a pub called the Irish Pub which has had a reputation to make great parmas but I'm wondering am I allowed to enter these premises or do I need to have an adult present with me. My brother is 22 by the way.
I'm not sure what the current law is at the moment in regards to whether underage people are allowed to enter licensed premises or not.
Can someone who knows please tell me what the law is in regards to this issue.

Depends.
You would be allowed to enter the eating area of a licensed place such as a pub and eat food but not be allowed to drink alcohol. parents take their kids to such places every day.
Public bar of a pub, or a nightclub, somewhere that doesn't serve food, the answer is (theoretically unless you're a hot chick) NO.

Good for you.
If it's just a bar, you should be right to eat there. Though some kick you out after a certain time. I'd give them a call, just so you don't have to stress.
