I remember a little while back there was talk about 6 statues going up around the new olympic park training track when it is completed.

Just got to thinking about who they could be and which stance they'd be in.

Here would be my first choice.....

The legendary 'Jock' McHale should have his own statue as well. The only coach to have won 4 premierships in a row with any team ever and he was as loyal as they came for the club.

This one - where Daics asks Bomber Thompson, "Who kicked 5 goals in the 1990 Grand Final?"

So many greats of this great club. How would you pick the select few?

Some worthy inclusions:

Dick Lee

Gordon Coventry

Phonse Kyne

Len Thompson

Tony Shaw

Nathan Buckley

Absolute certainties would have to be the following:
Syd Coventry
Gordon Coventry
Harry Collier
Albert Collier
Jock McHale
The architects of the most successful era any club has ever enjoyed:

Form living memory I would go with Peter Daicos.
If not the most popular player I've ever seen play for our club, he'd go damn close.

Banksy turning Rhys-Jones lights out would be a ripper

Daics with his arms in the air after the reverse banana from the pocket at Waverley vs west coast 1990

Rene Kink spitting in Jezzas face. Maybe that one could be a fountain.

Yep, good reminder to the kids not to drink and drive, and maybe stay around for another premiership.
