| Post subject: One win away from a certain top 4 finish! |  |
|
Forget the roos and bummers... if we beat the weagles we are a certainty to finish top 4!
The weagels can't finish above us if we beat them - this is the BIG game for the Pies before the finals.
No wonder Sawanny was given a 2 weeks suspension 
So is it worth resting Jolly or a few others with niggles in preparation for the game in WA?

Yeah, I was thinking that too.
But we can't go soft on Roos because
1. We may not beat the eagles, but if we beat roos and ess we can still get top 4.
2. We want our last loss in the H & A to be against the Hawks (for superstitious reasons!!)
3. Because we want to smash em all!!!! |

At least 1 win and we secure 4th spot.
We would face either Sydney or Adelaide. Both of which we have beaten this year at their home grounds.
Win all 3, depending on how other games pan out, we finish 2nd or 3rd and more chance of facing off against Dawks.
I know sooner or later we will meet the Dawks is some Finals game. We struggle against their run of half back, we are unable to choke them up as we did against the crows and swans.
All in all the race for the Final 8 this year is a cracker. Exciting month ahead.

not counting my chickens but
I can't decide if it is better to play the hawks in the first week of the finals or the granny....
i have a feeling adelaide may end up on top of the ladder because of their easy draw. If they do, it won't matter cos I reckon they'll go out in straight sets.
I think I want to see us play swans week 1 at the G, then Adelaide at the G in the prelim, then be nice and fresh for a tilt at the big dance.
