Not looking to doubt you but how do you know this? |
Of course it was the Pies final offer, until the next one which will be the final final offer. |
They will budge on the 5 years. Do you know why? Because they set the precedent with Pendles earlier in the year.
A 4 year extension after this year equates to the same net result as a 5 year contract. Pendles has effectively been playing this year as year one of a 5 year deal. _________________ http://youtu.be/hvtdbfI1sqQ |

They will get Cloke.
Like Presti, Lica and Rocca before him. 'play for us on 700 over 5, but when youre done you will have a job for 5yrs on 250k a year'.
Eddie will get him. _________________ Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey, we want some Bayley! |

No chance of getting to Carlton (I think he's staying btw)
It would be over Ed's dead body - in a fantasy scenario - if he did get to Cartlon and won a flag for them, it would be the end of Ed's reign. Boardroom blood would be spill. |

More than board room blood...actual blood.
Westpac Centre would be burnt to the ground. _________________ © The Dude ®

Was talking to a friend of Jason Cloke last night and he is adamant that Jason told him Travis is going to Carlton - done deal.
I never post rumours and it is possible this guy is full of shit about what Jason said (although I know for a fact that he is friends with J Cloke). |

Unrestricted free agency rules do not allow Travis to Carlton to be a done deal at this time of the season. October 1 is when the free agency wheeling and dealing starts.
If the above is true Carlton would cop a fine of $100,000, (not that that would worry them the way they're splashing money around at the moment). |

Also, he is a restricted free agent, so we can match any offer in which case he stays with us or goes in to the draft or we trade him to the Scum.
Article in the Sun last week saying that players were not keen to take pay cuts to bring a mercenary into their club, so maybe the love aint there for Trav by the Scum players. |
