Underbelly Park has announced a loss of $680,000 for the year whilst the Lions lost a staggering $2.5 million.

"Underbelly Park chief executive Greg Swann said falling attendances in a disappointing season were also a factor in the loss, although the Blues have reduced their historical debt below $6.5 million."

Watch out Eddie, Mrs Pratt will realise soon enough that Swann is a dud and come after Pertie! It still has a debt of over $6 million? Jesus, that must put them in the same class as basket case North Melbourne.

Long may it be so.

PS Mods - this childish auto correct of Scum (blue version) and Scum (red version) has gone on far too long. Ditch it please.

<D'accord, although sometimes it can be fun to be a little childish. The mods team>

Underbelly Park is a fantastic description of what that team stands for. Once I was staying in accomodation on Lygon street, with my room facing a laneway watching people selling stuff from the back of a Mercedes. At the time I didn't know who the bloke was but after all the media with images of certain crime bosses I now know who it was. Seen him in many photos at Underbelly park.

Brisbane losing money galore down the drain , and fat Vlad wants the Gold Coast Beachboys to get millions and millions more poured into this plastic team. Brissie bears are financially rooted, and GC Beachboys will go the same way, its only old retired ex Victorians up there who show any interest in AFL, but the Fatman cannot be told. As for the Scum, maybe they should send Judd around to Jeannies, and get him to fulfill all her fantasies if she puts in six million into the Scum coffers. ! I reckon Judd would get a kinky kick out that too. !

Nah mate. Remember the lessons of world war 2. Hitler would never have risen to power if he flat out told everyone that he was going to turn jews into soap and lose a war against Russia. He did the smart thing and started with the kids. The Hitler Youth and all that. Dimma is doing the same thing. Throw shitloads of cash at QLD and NSW and get the kiddies into it, and voila, in twenty years the old coots who follow Thugby league are all dead and the kids that were brought up on the exploits of Izzy and KHunt, although not Izzy so much anymore, will be young adults with cash to burn. AFL wins.
