I'm happy with that decision. I think Maxy still has plenty to offer as the captain for our football club.
Scott Pendlebury's time will come soon.

| Great decision that helps with club stability. Pendles is obviously the next cab off the rank but for now, I'm rapt that Maxy is leading the mighty Magpies in this very important season for Collingwood. All good. |

| Dont agree with Pendles as next captain,he might be our best player ,but a captain imop should have the the traits that Maxy posseses ,crazy courage ,hard at the footy ,the stuff that makes his players want to follow him,not sure Pendles has that in him,he is hard at the footy,but not that crazy Gavin Brown,Maxy and Tony shaw disregard for self atttack on the footy or opponent,my next choice as captain would be Daisy imop has just those attirbutes |

Happy with the news, good to see supportive views in this thread. Agree than Pendles time will come, but it's not yet.
Hope to see Maxy holding up the 2013 Premiership Cup.
