Bucks, on ABC radio, just mentioned Marley Williams as close to selection, and as an important small defender for us.
Good to at least know that his court case isn't completely ruling him out. Sounds to very much be in our plans. Could be a handy inclusion. _________________ Well done boys! |

We Can't Play 2 Rucks as we seem to slow. Though Witts was good in the 1st Half _________________ I am Da Man |

Pavlich out for a few more yet.
Sandilands, who knows when he'll be back? (Witts lovers, beware; we have to learn from Freo's experiences as to how to nurture and manage the body of a 209cm giant...)
And Fyfe challenging his suspension hands us another gift. Bradley out with a knee also not good for them; while not a world-beater, he is important for their structure with no Pavlich.
I'm hoping Marley gets a call-up to go on to "sweet" Ballantyne... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

^ I agree Joel, Williams on Freos tip rat would be a great match up. I hope they continue with the Witts Jolly experiment. _________________ Genesis 1:1 |

While I can understand why you'd have Thomas listed as an out I wouldn't mind seeing him given a consecutive game for once to see if he can build on that performance.
To be honest Blair is the one who needs to be dropped.
Poor against Essendon and zero disposals till halftime last night.
Like Fasolo needs to go back to the VFL and made to earn his recall.
Dwyer would benefit from a spell IMO.
Ball if he gets through unscathed tomorrow might come in as sub as don't the VFL have a bye next week?
Apart from Williams and Martin Paine and Oxley are others on my selection radar.
Out:Blair, Witts, Dwyer
In:Ball, Martin, Williams/Paine _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

That's right, state game next week (VFL vs WAFL), so the VFL team has the week off.
Tomorrow's game at Williamstown will be very interesting, in terms of how much time Bally plays... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

I've been a big Josh Thomas fan for a long time & was stoked to see him get an opportunity. What I was disappointed with was that we had him playing mostly on the wing. Stoppages are his bread & butter & if we aren't going to use him there then there is no place for him. Martin offers more variety & can play inside & out as is more dangerous if moved forward.
I reckon Ball will be back the week after against the Cats
I acknowledge Blair's form but we cannot afford to regain his form in the VFL until Ball & Beams are back. |

After watching some of last night's game, Freo won't be the pushovers some people think they might be.
Must win game if we want a win over the next three weeks though. |

Blair was one of our best in the first half of Anzac Day.. we must understand that he is only ever going to be a handy rotation midfielder. To note: last year Blairs best game was against Freo at the MCG.
He looks much better when Beams, Ball are back in the side, plus Daisy and Sidey have had patchy form. I really can't wait till our midfield looks like: Swan, Pendles, Beams, Ball, Sidey, Thomas... Blair.
The thing we need to be careful with is Cloke getting shut down by McPharlin. We really need a few other guys to create goals. A real danger player is Walters. _________________ ------------
