It's a worry when Fyfe, Hunt, Adams & now probably Maxwell get weeks for the softest things. I think it's near time the AFLPA said enough. |

Just? Deserves 6, but the MRP hate us so he will probably get a reprimand |

Got 2 weeks in 2012 Finals, he has gotten away with a lot as he likes to snipe players off the ball a lot, MRP knew we were worse off with him in the team so let a lot slide |

Geeze Eddie, don't show your Collingwood bias
A richmond player hit Keefe in the head, made him go off with the blood rule. It was accidental, but he IS responsible for it now. He should get weeks....
Maxy will get off, it wasn't replayed more than 4 times! |

Did Cotchin himself kidney punch Young in an off the ball incident. It sure looked like it. Isnt that what we are trying to eradicate from the game? Just because he got toweled up by the Caff, is it ok for a player to take out his frustrations in this manner.
Finally, I still don't get the holding the ball rule. Lumumba got pinged in round 1 for being tackled and not disposing of the ball correctly. Since then, I have seen at least 10 occasions where a Collingwood opponent who has possession has been tackled and the ball has fallen to the ground. I must confess, I just don't get why sometimes its holding the ball and sometimes its play on.
separately, I don't understand how reiwoldt got a free kick for incidental contact that he exaggerated. It was minor contact when the ball was no more than 20 meters from the players. Umpire said contact was not incorrect, but merely too early. so why on earth doesn't cloke get a free kick when his guy touches him that early??? Sometimes he is being held before the ball is even kicked. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Every week this season their full forward has received a touch free and every week Cloke is getting mauled. Its ok if they aren't paying the contact any more but dee, they need to be the same at both ends. Its a bit of a joke. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Cotchin, not sure if he kidney punched him (I think elbow more likely) but I'm pretty sure he dropped the knees into him in a contest when Young was on the ground - not that anything will come from it because it was only replayed once, so there will be no media outcry, but I said in the game thread, I reckon it's pretty weak; I didn't think Cotchin was that sort of player but he showed his true colours tonight unfortunately for him and his club |
