Whats with the blatant Exthortion with flights on this weekend?

$320 at least to the goldy? GET F***ed

It usually costs less than $200 with Tiger, so all because the footy is on its highway bloody robbery.

In february, I bought flight tickets for this game for $180 return from Jetstar.

The weekend before is about $200 and the week after the same so its really only that weekend.

Annoying because I'd really like to go but $300 is bloody steep.

Middle weekend of the school holidays is always the dearest.
This is when most states school holidays usually overlap.

if you are prepared to fly to Brisbane, Tiger has a flight $92.95 Saturday morning 9.10am, returning Sunday evening 9.10pm for $106.95. you still have to get to the Gold Coast by bus or train

yet another addendum: free public transport to the ground with Translink - well worth asking the Queenslanders if this is possible

I looked at it..getting to the goldy takes a good 90 minutes though plus the cost of doing it..not really worth it for a day trip.

Would rather go friday night and go on the sarge then hit the game saturday.

And the GC marathon is on that weekend.

actually most people on the gold coast dont even fly out of gold coast airport. Most take the train to brisbane, which goes straight to the airport and take the flight from there (Cheaper flight from Brisbane)

I think a translink pass for the train from the airport to Nerang station is about 23 bucks each way.

Its the G.Abblett Tax on the gold coast remember
Dont forget Wayne Carey lives there now too.
