Indigenous round Jumper

Every club is going to be wearing an indigenous jumper so we were always going to release one.

At least ours is linked to one of our community projects.

Should be a white hand grasping a black hand (or vice versa).

Other than that it seams ok.

I think we need a Nicks round to celebrate the forums and possibly a pensioners round to celebrate how they have built our country.

Also need a manufacturers round to celebrate manufacturing in this country.

With those few extras, that should almost that the 'celebrate something' out to 22 rounds.

Seriously, with all these celebrate rounds, they start to lose meaning.

To me this is just another round.

To be brutally frank, my view is that the CFC Guernsey as it is says the indigenous thing without the need for any 'Ken Done-ish' embellishment.

FFS, it's B&W, what more do we have to do ... replace our song with 'Ebony & Ivory'? I don't think so.

Our club does shitloads in indig communities already and I don't feel that we need a speccy jumper to hoot and holler our creds in this field.

All we need is Eddie to do an 'AbbottWink' as an image of a certain Swannie's player swings across the 'G ... everyone will get the message ...

Oh dear.

Geez the AFL will sell its soul for every cause and every sponsor under the sun. Just when the code needs stability it changes jumpers and rules every week. You don't see MLB doing that!
