Have you ever, EVER seen a network run a poll to ask viewers how many weeks a player will get during the same game that he gets reported. This is just outrageous!

Is this the Collingwood conspiracy?

They absolutely HATE us. If I could bankrupt Channel Bogan (7) I would. They are a curse on society, and I'm not just talking footy.

I cannot follow a sport where Ablett gets off for a blatant and crude elbow to the head and is defended by media, while sidey is already being crucified. Ablett would get off for that.

They've been doing those polls all year, so yeah.

Thought they overplayed the incident though. Wasn't even a hip and shoulder. It was a jump in the air and a clip with an elbow. No way he'll be getting 4 weeks for it.

Elbow to the head, jumped off the ground. Player subbed off concussed. Pretty obvious he'll miss weeks

At least the idiots in the TV box have stopped going on about it. That is until about 5 mins time when they do their post match crap.

It's probably 3 weeks down to 2. Probably not needed over the next fortnight so let's move on.

Negligent, high impact, has a reasonable record I think - two weeks with a plea.

Sorry to say I think your a bit off Johno. It should be 2 weeks but don't be surprised if it gets graded higher and now as the soft saint was subbed it could be 5 down to 4.
I don't have any faith in the MRP and plus the hysteria from the germs on TV saying he jumped and cocked a elbow hit him high.
I'm hoping it's 2 but the carry over points plus gives him form now so won't take much for him to get a other game down the track for not doing much.

If that was any other player from any other team you'd all be calling for at least 2 weeks. And he deserves it.

Bad luck to the kid. It wasn't malicious. But it was there.

I don't think anyone doubts he'll get weeks. But it was more clumsy than purposeful. Commentators were going on as if it was a deliberate hip and shoulder, which it was not.

They have to talk about something other than us flogging the rabble that has become St Kilda again! It was very clumsy - Sidebottom deserves two week. P.S. Sidey, practice your foot skills while you are having a rest!

He'll get, 4, down to 3 with an early plea. If the roles were reversed, that's what we'd be calling for.

Maybe he can work on his kicking during his holiday. You know, like, kick it to someone actually wearing a Collingwood jumper.

A more than reasonable record: as I recall, Sidey has never been reported at all in the AFL, and was never suspended at junior level either. Two to three weeks with a plea sounds likely enough (though I haven't seen the incident yet, I'm only going off the radio call 'till tomorrow's replay).
