It's time to make a stand here, it's not our home ground yet every year we play 2-3 home games there.

I accept we have to play games there, I'd be ok with playing 4 away games there, but no home games.

I use the example of the West Coast Eagles, Freo Dockers, Adelaide Crows, Port Power, Liverpool, Man U, New York Yankees, do they play home games at a foreign ground? NO.

Time to make a stand, not basing this just on performances there either, our fans have spoken with their feet, 28k there today, that's a shit crowd for us.

NO MORE HOME GAMES AT ETIHAD.

I agree. The fans are boycotting the stadium anyway. What did we have today 20,000? Laughing

Never thought we would see the day when they draw larger weekly crowds in Adelaide than we do in Melbourne. Something is really rotten in the state of Victorian footy at the moment. Fans are voting with their wallets.

28,000^.Still a very poor crowd for us.You'd swear the supporters knew the sort of tripe the players were going to throw up today.

I don't have a problem playing at Etihad, but if we are forced to have home games there, then WE SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING A TEAM WHOS GODDAMN HOME GROUND IT IS!

WTF is the point of classing it as a home game for us if we have no goddamn home ground advantage?? Why don't we have a home game at Subiaco while we're at it? What a $£$%^%%$ joke!

Isn't Etihad St Kilda's home ground too?

It's technically speaking the home ground for;

Carlton
North
St Kilda
Essendon
Western Bulldogs

Surely there's enough home games from those 5 sides to fill the quota that the AFL has to play there each year.

No need for us to play home games there at all.

If we have to have 2 home games there then I should be able to buy a 9 game membership. It's a crap stadium.

TODAY was another very, very good reason, why I loathe, utterly loathe, the eitihad shithole with an absolute passion.

Perhaps the fact that the AFL and Channel Seven both have their HQs there is another good reason to bomb the place. Razz

I think there were very few bulldogs supporters at that game also. Seemed like less than 10,000 to me but I could be wrong.
20,000 Collingwood supporters is a generous figure. We did make some noise in the last though.
28,000 for our home game is really bad. That's more like a 1980s crowd at the Western Oval.

We do seem to to always struggle at Etihad, although our win/loss record isn't all that bad there.

But supporters are speaking with their feet. If that game was at the MCG, there would been over 50K. That's a big difference.

I've never been there. And from everything I have ever heard about the place, I ain't missed nuffin. Bring back Waverley. At least it was a football ground and it was a lot closer to most people too. And you could buy a pie for 80c.

And the beer wasn't watered down. We had full strength in cans those days. Laughing
