i blame the odd numbered cluster of magpies i saw (on the way to the ground) for today's loss. i said to myself at the time that we'd lose today.

we all know that an even number of magpies is good luck.

No, the extra magpie was at home with me. Screaming at the TV in total frustration and disbelief.
