Didn't see all the games over the weekend but doubt Broomhead's game was deserving of a RS nomination.

Has been OK, not worthy of RS nomination though.

He wears a Collingwood jumper, right? That means a minimum of 8 weeks of good performances before you'll even be considered.

Yeah has been ok to good but I am not sure he will get nominated yet.

However he did miss/get away with most of the Gatorade shower in the team song yesterday as the players didn't realize till late that it was his first win.

I'm tipping they will make up for it when he enjoys his 2nd win (this week we hope).

No where near it .... yet. Building slowly, showing great potential. Just wish he had Ollie Wine's body!

Am I being paranoid or did Broomy look kind of flat yesterday? Played a good game, but things like celebrating goals or even after the win he just looked disinterested. I know he was late to join the gatorade shower, and just didn't seem to enjoy the win. That coupled with not being resigned as of yet has got me worried maybe the rumours are true in that he is looking to head back home.

Good call Az was thinking the same thing although noticed that he has a that sort of personality...so maybe we are paranoid? Let’s face it the better he plays the better the trade value so will be a win win for us anyway!

Throw in a Kennedy as well and that makes it 2 good trades (we can trade to suit our team).

Think he's just a young fella finding his feet in the big leagues adz, had a tough couple of years with injuries and illness. Don't think he feels part of the team yet, same can be said for Ben Kennedy, just finding their way the Youngbloods.

Having watched him a lot in the VFL, I can say he's like this all the time. Just seems a very focused, introverted kind of guy. Nothing wrong with that at all.

It doesn't look that good when you factor in that he's out of contract, but I wouldn't be concerned...

Is it just me or does he look like Sidey's twin?

Fair call, but I'd thought your first AFL win without wearing a green vest would have been significantly more special than your run of the mill VFL win.

I know it's early days but the kid looks the goods and I'd say he's pretty important for our push in 15/16/17. Losing him or Kennedy to SA will have more serious ramifications than most realise. Will set us back if we only get picks for either he or Kennedy having to re-draft more mids to develop from scratch, then having them ready to be pushing for a senior spot come flag contention time is going to be a big ask.

McStay (3 goals), Michael Close and Darcy Gardiner had reasonable games at Brisbane from what I saw of the game. I'm backing one of them in this week.
