As if we don't have enough dolts masquerading as journalists to add one more, but add him we must, the dolt Damien Barrett. I know Lyons treats him like a goose on their AFL Video show although I think it is designed to provide a level of sympathy for the Dumb Damien.

It's not his hate for Collingwood that worries me but his attempt to disguise that hate in some hypocritical concern for the Club. Barrett's total knowledge of Football would fill a thimble on a good day and that by itself just aligns him with most of the other journalist in Melbourne. My hopes rest on Gerard Whateley as the last bastion of unbiased AFL commentary and as long as that muppet Robbo does not spread his inept comments through some misguided attempt at keeping Robbo relevant, I believe we will have at least one good judge in GW.

Yep, GW is about the only one I have any faith in these days.

I've had no time for Barrett since he tried to make a song and a dance about Neon leaving at the end of 2011. It was absolutely pathetic. He flew over to Perth for a "sensational, exclusive inside story". All he really got from Leon was that he left because he knew he was approaching the end of his career and basically couldn't be bothered making the adjustment to a new coaching regime.

If you're going to start a thread complaining about someone please provide a link to what has so outraged you.

Barrett is okay IMO and perhaps he's just stating a few home truths.

Things aren't all that rosy at Collingwood right now both on and off the field.
