Congratulations to Matthew Priddis. Well deserved. Good in and under player. |

To be honest I think Raw Hammer has a point. We pay Priddis no respect when we play the eagles & he racks up possessions & clearances at will. I thought with his lack of pace he was a perfect tag prospect for Caff, but the coach thought otherwise. Smashes it in the midfield against us consistently. |

Yes. It's the case for whoever Beams plays on.
Beams has to be extremely damaging, cos his opponent gets a stack of it. |

you probably heard lingy mention in the post match that he tried to tag him in the 2011 prelim, but its pretty pointless to tag an inside mid who gets all of his touches with someone on him. A tagger is helpful to deny a player the ball. It kind of doesn't help to stop a guy who just goes in and gets it.
most of the damage Priddis does when he is on song, is untaggable. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Yeah fair point, but Priddis gets the ball put down his throat by Nic Nat & Cox. Would have been wise to at least stop that easy clearance happening. When we played them he was running around free all day with no opponent. Bucks chose to tag Gaff instead. |

Unfortunate, but true. Same can be said for Swan, and to a lesser extent Pendlebury. _________________ Get back on top. |

Priddis may get the ball put down his throat but you can't stop that unless we win the hitouts or our midfielders read the ball better, a tagger can't stop that.
Gaff is damaging on the outside where you can stop someone and Gaff is not one you want to be having loose on the outside. Priddis is damaging on the inside where its harder to stop and therefore is an untaggable player in my eyes. Thats also where our midfielders do need to be more accountable though, get in first or when the ball is out still keep an eye on him |

Yep and I hear as FACT, that Buckley secretly paid off the other coaches to not tag him so he could his other 20 odd votes.
