Tannin and TP in complete agreement and making perfect sense. Isn't that the second time within the last month?

Must be a sign of the apocalypse.

Clearly, one of us needs treatment badly.

As we probably both agree that neither of us can agree as to which of us needs that urgent treatment, we had better agree to administer it jointly and liberally at the earliest opportunity. Mine's a scotch, bourbon for you?

I misread Wokko's post and was proposing a small medicinal libation with him, TP. But since the idea has been floated, it strikes me as an excellent one. Smile you would both make lively and congenial companions, I'm sure. The footy season is not too far away now, perhaps that will provide a suitable opportunity.

Well that goes down as the most bizarre offer of a drink, and then rejection I've ever had, um, well almost

Only "almost". Hmmm ..... so that's the second-most bizzare offer and rejection you've ever had. Tell us about the other one. Shocked

Get a house shortlisted in Ballarat, so might be living up there soon.

Also been warned off Alfredton btw, can you confirm whether it's the Ice production center of the greater Ballarat region? I've just started watching Breaking Bad and my imagination has gone into overdrive.

Here's the house we're looking at, tell me what you think. (Off topic I know, but Tannin's offer of a drinking session segues into my relocation.

Get those scissors out David, 'coz I reckon it looks good. Nice area, very surprising price. I don't follow the market at all, but I'd have thought it would pull quite a lot more than that.

If you're planning on buying it get a full inspection first, looks to me like someone's been watching too much Block.

But make sure you get the appropriate consent first. Razz

Yeah, it's clad in cement sheeting, apparently non asbestos but I want that checked. Also the 'pool fence' looks shonky as.

Apart from that though, I was pretty impressed on my walkthrough. Going up for another look tomorrow.
