As players, probably Hird as he has a couple of flags under his belt.
As coaches, neither have impressed me so far but Hird's reputation has been forever tarnished with this Drugs caper.
I am leaning towards Bucks because he is a gentlemen in every sense of the word & I truly believe his love for the CFC is genuine & would never do anything to jeopardise that...

The AFL had already found the Bombers and Hird guilty of recklessly conducting an experimental and covert drug program on their players. That's why they were kicked out of the finals, and Hird kicked out for a year.
The recent tribunal hearing simply found there was not enough evidence to 'prove' the players took a banned substance. |

Well - That means that Hird and Co are not off the Hook for Cheating.
Just the AFL can’t do anything unless the Sleeze Bag Denk Talks.

Hird Albert Joseth Mengele Hird vs Nathan Buckley. That's easy. The tag champion only applies to the man who didn't sit in his office watching his players being injected with unapproved drugs because his ego was so huge he figured he needed to take unlawful shortcuts to satisfy it.

The question was who was a better player, not coach. As for stats games etc they are pretty much even. The flags puts Hird in front in my view. Seriously if you don't like the answers then why ask the question?
I would have Voss in front of Hird, Buckley & Harvey as a player. |
