Just saw a tweet suggesting Pendles has had scans. Does anybody know anything about this? What is the injury?

Pendlebury doesn't seem to think he'll miss, but we've been here before with players putting on brave faces, so we'll have to wait and see...

He will be on 9 news sports report soon, he was going into the clinic to have scans.
He tweaked the ankle on Sat, he had a slight limp as he came off, but then came back on and played out the game. I think it happened late in the second, or early in the third qtr.
I'm pretty sure he'll be OK for this week and the scans are just precautionary. |

Neil blame has added a new category
Extreme term and most of our injuries will be in this class Pendles included.

Pendles most likely will have contracted golden staph at the hospital and will be in ICU for the rest of the season, indeed an extreme term injury!

| Neil Balme just said he's just tweaked it and we'll give him 15 weeks and bring him in slowly through the reserves until he is absolutely cherry ripe for the season proper....season 2019. |

| Happened early in the 2nd quarter from memory and he played out the game so I don't imagine it's too serious. |
