On 3 occasions jelly like Jarrod dropped gettable marks and made me feel like a Blues supporter. An insipid and uninspired performance for a player whose long term position is being swept away from Brodie. GWS all offers welcome!

First game back. Agree that he dropped few too many. But big blokes take time to get the aerial timing.

shit post.
Whole team was ordinary in the first q-under huge pressure- confidence shaken
Yep- he stuffed up but he needs time to adjust- did some bloody nice things and will be a force- he is still only 22- just a baby.

Get games into him.
Realistically we are not a contender this year.
Pump games into the young guys to have a crack in 2016/17.

Stop being as emotional as Michael Hutchence

He was one of our better players the first 15 minutes when most of the side couldn't get near it.

Still he has a habit of playing his best footy in the first quarter before fading away.

Dropped some marks he could and probably should have taken which was disappointing.

Needs to improve this and start to use his size to greater advantage with more aggression.

Two bits of advice for the OP:
(1) think more
(2) drink less.

That shocking dropped mark in the first seemed to get in his head. He was looking great until then. Afterwards.....yeesh. I think he'll be fine though.

Yes that dropped mark will bein the review thought he moved around ok for first game game. His decision making let him down at times and needs to keep improving in this area

We can't keep rucking Grundy full time
game after game.
Witts is the only real alternative this year, so lets
see how it pans out this season.
Witts can play but needs to take a
step up.
I also think he is too much of a nice guy
and I think it comes out as player who is too casual.
Get some mongrel Wittsie!

Very harsh assessment of a player who did some good things and some bad things. Still a work in progress.

Thinks too much. Needs to show more of his natural aggression, which he has in spades

Dim was a spectator last night. Watched the game most of the night and really struggle with the change of pace and intensity from VFL.

Dim Witts could have done both and we would not have known the difference.

I'd really like to see that come out. Did some good stuff but far to quiet for my liking. Same as white. Couple of times they could have split the pack, but they are too well mannered. The cats are bullies, and the umps let me do it, they are the absolute masters of getting away with shit. Just watch Hawkins again. Push push push. Need to hit back.

Oh and the acting award as usual goes to Selwood, who went down like he'd been shot. God he's a sook.
