I told ya all this would happen.

You can't take short cuts with serious shoulder injuries.

I don't like to get stuck into players who have left. I still have a soft spot for Beams, Heater, H and Dawesy. But it hard to to feel as much sympathy for Daisy. He went to Carlton. So for me, he and that Club have both have become irrelevant. I hope they find a way to win some wood in three months time.

Hes gone, never the same player at the scum as he was with us, and now that his father figure, Mad Mick, has departed, his heart will not be at that dump of a team. Will become a fringe player with the Northern Blues, at best.

If it was any other mob but them...

As a fellow football side, a club that has given so much joy to so many...er...people...

First their coach, then their champion and now their high priced recruit...if it was one of those all star combinations back in the day...

Let's hope there are better times in store - well one good thing, it ain't us.

If he was still with us he'd be giving Ben Reid a run for the Lee Walker award.

I'm not sure what I'd enjoy more.

The scum winning the spoon or finishing second last and missing out on the prized No.1 pick there fans are desperate for?

This is sad. He really has had no luck since he selflessly gave his feet for the pies!! At least he got paid.

He is looking pretty smart right now to have taken the money.

Hopefully they'll get the spoon and use their No.1 pick on the next Jack Watts.

Matter of fact Thomas has definitely made the right decision leaving us.

I doubt he'd get a game for the Pies anymore and would be on the scrap heap by seasons end anyway. Whereas Carlton will be forced to keep him on in a forlorn attempt to see some return on their massive dud of an investment on him.

Smart move Daisy.

Well that's the thing; having known he'd struggle to see out 2015 on the field - do they play him and roll the dice, hoping Oct 2015 - Feb 2016 is long enough for the injury to heal to take impact?
Or have him undergo surgery after round 1, writing him off for 2015, but effectively allowing almost 12 months for recovery?

Them's the dilemmas people... and not our problem thankfully...

The Carlton demise couldn't get any better! I guess the only salient piece of advice is that we are still yet to have our Dale Thomas trade play a game yet (Scharenberg)!!
