Hi all,

We are going up to watch the Pies play Brisbane at the Gabba.

Because we have never been to the Gabba before, I was just wondering where best it is to sit there?

Thanks,
Jac.

collingwood supporters out way Brisbane anyday we play them up here so you can't lose to be honest but the goals furthest away from the city on the Stanley street side of the ground is dense in black nwhite.

In air conditioning. Round 1 last year was horrendous with the humidity.

But seriously I found the ground OK for viewing. We only moved here in August 14 so went our first game last year up here. I sat with mostly Pies supporters on the lower level, behind the posts. Had GA and got a good seating position easily. Seemed like heaps of Pie supporters but the ground was pretty full and the Brions supporters were well represented and very loud.

I often find the best place to sit at the gabba is a window seat, about 30,000 feet above, heading south.

Jac, i'm still recovering from vertigo, when we got shoved up in the back row of the nose-bleed stand in 2010. That was the Fevola-gate game.

Never again. Dead-set in front of my Sony 46" TV, sprouting Bose speakers; that is where you'll find me in 2016.

Or just go to the Pineapple Hotel pre-game, and you'll be able to meet a few Qld based Nickheads there.
