Ins: Aish-Grundy-Reid-Howe-Marsh

Outs: Swan (injured)-Witts-Cloke-Sidders (susp) Brown (inj)

A message needs to sent so a big name has to go, sorry Trav but you need to go to VFL level and earn your spot back, Reid comes in and plays Fwd.

I doubt Howe is ready after just one VFL game. I'd be surprised if we dropped Cloke after one shocker, given most of the team were terrible.

Outs: Swan (inj), Brown (inj ?), Sidey (susp), Macaffer.

Ins: Aish, Reid, Marsh, Phillips.

Yep, let's drop Cloke. Moore and Gault had 10 kicks between them. They'll get massively better doing it all on their own, without the best Collingwood CHF since Weideman playing.

The Dropping of the oath isn't just based on last nights game, it's based on last years form + pre season form, enough is enough, when are you guys going to stop blaming everyone else for Clokes form? "But our kid fwd got smashed too-our mids got smashed-His delivery was poor-he's being double teamed, he's being played out of position" face it, he's become a liability.

As for Brown, he didn't play the last qtr, Bucks said he was tight in the hammy, given our recent history I very much doubt we'll risk him on a 6 day back up coming off an interstate game.

OUT: Swan (inj), Sidebottom (susp) then it's a question of how many voluntary changes on top of that, but I'd have Gault, Macaffer and Maynard in the gun with replacements of Reid, Grundy, Oxley, Toovey and Aish.

Howe probably needs more time and hopefully Broomhead and Smith are ready to play VFL.

Richmond's forward line will probably justify us taking all of Brown, Reid and Frost into the game.

B: Ramsay Brown Frost
HB: Toovey Reid Williams
C: Pendlebury Treloar Crisp
HF DeGoey Cloke Moore
F: Fasolo Witts Blair
R: Grundy Greenwood Adams
INT: Aish, Langdon, Oxley, Sinclair

EMG: Macaffer, Maynard, Goldsack

If Brown's tight hammy doesn't come up for Friday then I would want Goldsack (not Marsh) coming in.

I did not have Gault, Macaffer or Maynard in my best 22 for last night so I'm pretty much sticking with my original with replacements for Swan and Sidey.

Maynard needs to spend the whole season in the reserves to learn to play with the big boys. Has done nothing to warrant automatic selection in all his senior games.

Langdon needs to spend a month minimum cos he has sucked all pre season and most of last season.

The Macaffer selection was baffling after a year out of the game.

Unfortunately our best, most skillful players in Swan, Reid, Elliot, now Steele...are or will be missing. FFS. We gain Treloar, but now lose Swan. This team just can't take a freakin' trick.

I've already tipped Phillips to come in this week.

He and Smith (currently injured) do seem the youngsters closest to AFL ready, but if we have to go there I think we are pretty stretched. Especially with who is injured I think we need to go with experienced heads where we can. Losing Varcoe, Swan and Sidey really does gut us of a lot of our experience.

Be interesting how Goodyear is viewed given he has an extra preseason on Phillips and Smith.

Swan and Sidey out, Brown maybe doubtful with hamstring tightness.

That's 3 forced changes, and that's enough.

Aish comes in for Sidey and Reid for Brown. Not sure who comes in for Swanny, I've read Magpie Bats review of the VFL team and I'm not sure. Goldsack? Oxley was travelling emergency so he could be up?

No chance I'd drop Cloke, it's the midfield who needs a leather enema.

Rudeboy, I know you've proposed Phillips for a game - but why? If that were to happen, it would indicate yet another development year, getting games into the children. It would smack of Melbourne.
