| Post subject: God, or someone, please give me hope |  |

I'm so depressed.
I worry that this could be a dark period for us.
We'll have to hand over high draft picks for Treloar and Aish next year leaving us with little scope to improve.
Hopefully last night was just an aberration and not a sign of things to come.
Someone please tell me our future is bright, that there's hope. |

So am I but I seem to fluctuate between anger and disappointment and can't decide whose heads should roll: the media, the players... Next week we'll know if our players actually give a damn and have any balls. Throw up another performance like last night and they can shove it. That should never be allowed to happen ever again. |

I woke up this morning, as did everyone posting, and we're all on the right side of the grass. -That's far preferable to the alternative.

The trouble is we seem to be tracking in parallel with our 1990s team.
We won the flag in 1990 and were competitive for the next few years
but injuries and slumping form took a toll.
By the mid nineties we were stuffed.
it was around this time that we played the Swans at Vic Park and we
were smashed.
Capper killed us.
Our list in 2016 seems much better than the mid nineties lisr.
But who knows.
