Post subject: AFL Member's ticketsReply with quote

Just a quick query if someone can please help me out.

I have bought some AFL member's tickets for Saturday's game, but was planning on sitting in General admin with a few other Collingwood supporters. I realize I will have to enter via the AFL members section in the Southern stand, but after entering can I simply walk across to the public section of the Southern stand & Olympic Stand?

Thanks in advance.

Depends. If it's not a Collingwood home game, no, unless crowd is not expected to be 'blockbuster' in size. It's a StK home game, so usually not...but I assumed crowd ain't expected to prevent a crossover?

^ what are you talking about willis? the only game they tend to prevent crossover is anzac day but even then you can get through but there is little point unless you want to say hello to someone.

every other game i have walked through unimpeded.

I expect to do the crossover as well. It's usually ok for a game like this, expected crowd of up to 60k

Actually they have a new system this year from what I saw last week. You have to scan your way through to the public area - either with your membership card or maybe with your reserved seat ticket if you have one...
