Will be 28 by round 1 next year, but could easily get 2 years out of him. To get him for nothing would be the deciding factor.

Lachie Neale (22) would be the better option, but he is South Australian, so he might try to get back there. And he'd needed to be traded for.

Alternatively, is he slow enough to play for Collingwood?

not sold on Mayne, he is a serviceable midfielder...we have plenty of midfielders.

What we desperately need is a speedy line breaking backman and a speedy goal sneaking forward. I feel like a broken record as i feel i have been talking about it ever since Leon retired.

I get this feeling we should have pushed harder to get a player like Daniel Rioli.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing i suppose.

Not required IMO. Goes missing far to often and his little upside left to develop.

Yep, I miss Leon so much. He was all class and probably our best ball user, just ahead of Dids.

Out of all the players we have lost/moved on since 2010-11, I think I would say a fit and firing Leon-type player would be the one we could do with most now. Or maybe Heater.

Crying or Very sad

He's a forward. And has had the yips for 3 seasons. Will fit in perfectly.

I'm with you, was pushing the idea of grabbing Pickett from GWS as part of the Treloar deal but it didn't eventuate.

Not sure how we were ever going to get Rioli when we didn't have a pick until 32.

Hopefully Daicos and Brown at the draft this year fill the void forward.

He would be a good chance if he holidays in Bali and is prepared to bend over and spin complete tripe for his love of the almighty Buckley.

Hell we would probably double his salary and promise him he can play wherever he wants.

Does he like playing frisbees?
