Post subject: Forever Collingwood - stopped being updated?
|
Hi all,
Sorry if this has been brought up before but does anybody know why the Forever Collingwood online archive is not being updated? From what i can see all record keeping stops at the end of the 2013 season.
I thought it was a cracker when first launched but if it has fallen over, then it would now appear to be nothing more than a big waste of money. |

Hi Dan,
In reference to our Forever website, we're moving into the next phase of its development now.
There'll be plenty more changes and additions as the year goes on, so please keep an eye on it. Our historians are hungry to build on what's been developed so far (including the addition and upkeep of players and details from 2014-2015).
The updates will be both big picture and nitty gritty; an example of the latter is the latest update to the late Don Walsh's profile (http://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/players/don-walsh/). Don passed away only recently, but information sent via his family has helped tell his story. He only played six games, but it shows the strength of the story behind each player.
We'll keep you in the loop with changes and updates to the website on collingwoodfc.com.au as the year progresses.
If you've got any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Kind regards,
Luke Mason

Hi Luke,
How are things going regarding the updating of the website? I love the website but I'm looking forward to seeing it all updated soon. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Yes love the stories and the cult figures - guys I grew up watching; great memories. Ronnie Wearmouth, Graeme Jemkin, Dannie Seow, Ian Cooper.
How about a story about the forgotten Ian McOrist, Bruce Gonsalves, Terry Phillippe, Jason Croall etc or an update on how our Lou is travelling. |
