According to article in AFL news we have two--Scott Pendlebury & Adam
Treloar.

Adam has averaged 30.9 possesions per game [4th in the comp]
and also leads at Collingwood in clearences 'tackles'inside 50's and
goal assists [equal 2nd in AFL]----Thats impressive

Scott even playing with broken ribs early is in strong contention if his
recent form continues---still he is 5th in disposals

In a side who till 2 weeks ago was one of top sides and one of flag
favorites Patrick Dangerfield is rated as a contender but his set shots
for goal a weakness--he is averaging 28.9 disposals

We certainly got a good one in Adam

Sounds about right no other player has been consistent enough to be a chance. Maybe if Reid & Grundy have a big finish to the year they might be half a chance.
Shows we are a fair way off the top sides in terms of elite talent
Pendles Treloar and then a huge gap (Swanny is injured so not counting him in)
Need the next tier of players to step up and improve and become better

A fair assesment and when those players like DeGoey 'Maynard 'Moore etc. get up to speed
the strong fabric Adam and Scott have built

We should shoot up the ladder as the years
progress

Lot to like IMO

Grundy would have to improve at world record speed to even come close to being considered. I can't see him being ahead of Goldstein, Mumford, Gawn or Natanui just to name a few.

Sidey and Reid for sure are close - Faz would also be pushing!

With the champions coming from GWS - it is better the Pies focus on building a champion team - the team of champions will be taken!

Agree that Sidey should be amongst those names.

Apart from that, I can't argue with those contenders named.
