There is so much of this kind of ridicule that goes on and it's rarely, if ever, called out (street talk and most anything to do with The Footy Show being the exception). But if Ed does it you can be sure a story will be made of it.
And Ed's comments were on the very mild end of the spectrum. There was no mocking of the person, no zooming in on her and laughing (as there was in the above), simply pointing out that she tossed a coin poorly.
The reaction by the media has been appalling all round, mostly falling into 1) pathetic point scoring against Ed. 2) weak tutting so as not to become a target themselves. It's this kind of overblown outrage that is corrosive to our society. Blow up over something so minor and you'll get more and more anti PC push back on actual matters of importance. |

If you do something that harms yourself or your club in any way, then you have something to learn, even if you care only about self-preservation (which I don't think is the case for him). |

Or the people that get disabled stickers for a parent and stick em in a home and never visit them but still park in the disabled car parks. The City of Glen Eira is full of the bludgers.

Ed says stupid things and cops what he deserves.
But I admire his refusal to compromise/ trash the black and white brand to appease the AFL bullies. The rest that do disgrace their heritage and supporters. Carlton's white shit representing the "navy blues" the most blatant example of their commercial "whoredom". Just shit !!!!!
