When did we last win a game by less than 6 points?

Didn't we beat the Swans by a point or two a couple of years ago early in the season. I remember Bucks was under pressure as we started poorly, but we managed to hold on to win.

the game mirrored the 2018 grand final.
scoring and momentum was exactly the same, but this one we where able to hold on.

I think they learned from the GF loss to win this game, would of loved to lose this game and win the GF last year though

Only due to Henry Schade's brilliance! Cool

Beat the Lions and Dockers by 7 and 9 pts respectively last year. Lost to Swans by 2 points and that other unmentionable game at the end of the year by 5 points.

Directly answering your question... last win under a goal was against the Swans at the SCG in Rd 3 2017 (I was there... it was AWESOME!) Also beat the Eagles by 8 pts and drew with the Crows that year but lost to the Giants by 3 and Dees by 4 pts.

Surprisingly few games are that close with us for some reason!

The reasons we won: it wasn't a final, it wasn't against an interstate team in a final, it wasn't against an interstate team in a grand final.

other than that we were just good enough...

^ We don't have problems with interstate teams. We do have problems in GFs.
We have problems in close GFs, but probably not in close H&A games.

And 12 losses in that time by that margin.

Very even, as you'd expect. No problem there, unlike in GFs.

Essendon are a far worse team than West Coast so it would have been a very bad loss if we lost yesterday

AFL live The Last Two Minutes features our game and when you watch it we were never going to give up the lead

It never got out of our 50 —the desperation they showed was inspiring

Two elements were the two Brown shots which some one mentioned soaked up a minute
The other was when they even looked like getting anywhere near the centre
Sidey pot the after burners on to break the ball carries run with an experienced players hard hip,n,shoulder

Win the flag that I can’t say for sure but apply that never conceed approach for four qtrs all year and they better their chance
